Has an opening for the position of Personal Property Clerk/Data Entry.  Job duties include:  Clerical functions relating to the listing and valuation of all personal property within Ottawa County as well as secretarial functions involving computer data entry, word processing and telephone skills. Ability to read maps and work with legals is a plus.  A proven ability to work with the public in a congenial and professional manner is required. Previous experience in a typical office environment is preferred.  Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, typing/keyboarding skills and a valid Kansas driver’s license.  Salary negotiable based on qualifications of applicant.  Ottawa County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Applications may be obtained at the Appraiser’s office 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.  Job remains open till filled.
